Mrs. Mary Reed

  We are sorry to note the death of Mrs. Mary Reed, which occurred in 
Clearfield, on Tuesday, December 29, her age being 74 years, five 
months and 26 days.  She was the wife of Ross Reed, Esq., who died 
about four years ago, and the mother of Prof. A. R. Reed of Tyrone and 
Dr. F. B. Reed of Osceola.  Mrs. Reed was a daughter of Ignatius 
Thompson, of Lawrence Township, Clearfield County, and a relative of 
Judge Thompson, who was well known throughout that section of country.  
Prof. Reed and wife attended the funeral on Thursday, December 31.
