William Reed  1927-2007

William P. Reed, 79, of Ginter died Saturday, Jan 13, 2007 at his residence.
Born March 7, 1927 in Viola, he was the son of the late William and Margaret 
(Hughes) Reed, and on March 29, 1952, he married Marie (Zazworsky) Reed, who 
survives in Ginter.
He received an honorable discharge from the United States Navy after serving 
in World War II in the 203rd Construction Battalion.
He is survived by two daughters, Margaret (Reed) Houser and her husband Robert 
and Valerie (Reed) Beers and her husband Gordon, all of Almaden; a son, Breck 
Reed and his wife Karen of Lakeland, Fla; five grandchildren, ColleenHouser-
Schuhmann and her husband Rick of State College, Robert W. Houser, Regina and 
Scott Beers, all of Almaden, and Allysa Reed of Avon Park, Fla,. John Reed of 
Gloucester, Va., and Roger Reed of Manistee, Mich; and a number of nieces and 
nephews.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Peggy Solan and 
Maryann Harrelson; and a father- and mother-in-law, Frank and Ann Zazworsky.
	Arrangements were under the direction of Birger A. Freeburg Funeral 
Home, Houtzdale.
