William B. Reed
GINTER - William Boyd Reed,77, of Ginter died at 6:20am , Thurday at the 
Philipsburg State Hospital. He had been in ill health since returning from 
Canada about five weeks ago.  Born December 13, 1869, he is survived by two 
daughters, Mrs. Bernice Riley of Ohio and Mrs. Oscar (Beatrice)Ricketts of 
Utahville and four sons Richard of New York, William of Beccaria,James of 
Harrisburg, Raymond of Indiana and James of Houtzdale. Also surviving are 31 
grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The deceased by employed as a coal 
prospector for many years in the area. Funeral services will be held from the 
Reed residence 1074 Hannah Street, Houtzdale at 3 pm Sunday. Interment will be 
the Brisbin Cemetery.

wife Emma(Morgan)Reed not mentioned in Obit. Nor daughters May,Gladys,Emma.
Two sons by the name of James are mentioned in the Obit-wondering if one 
should be John M. Reed.
