LAWSON A. RENWICK 

Lawson A. Renwick, 75, of Gorman Drive, Erie, died Friday at Millcreek 
Community Hospital after a brief illness. 

He was born in the Elk County community of Weedville on Sept. 17, 1908, son of 
the late James P. and Elizabeth Reese Renwick. A former resident of Bennetts 
Valley, he was a retired coal miner. He attended the Methodist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Roxy Johnson Renwick, and his 
second wife, Gayinel Wonderling Renwick. 

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Rachel) Prosser of Erie and Mrs. 
Fred (Catherine) Smith of Kersey, Pa.; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces 
and great-nephews. 

Friends may call at Geer Funeral Home of Penfield on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 
7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Further calling hours will 
be at the funeral home Monday until the start of services there at 11 a.m. The 
Rev. James Moore will officiate. 

Burial will be at Morningside Cemetery, DuBois.
