Death of Mrs. Sarah Rhine
Special Correspondence
   DuBois, June 29 – Mrs. Sarah Jane Rhine died last Thursday afternoon after 
a lingering illness with cancer.  Deceased was aged 60 years and was married 
twice.  Her maiden name was Yale and her deceased husband’s name was Yale.  
She is survived by a widower and the following children: Mrs. Amy [Emma] 
Smith, of Elk county; Mrs. Dessie McCracken, of Clearfield county; Alonzo 
Yale, of Clearfield; Mrs. Mary Waugaman, of Grandview; George Rhine, of this 
place, and Mrs. Hazel Jenkins, of Bethlehem, Pa. She is also survived by two 
sisters and brothers: Mrs. Mariah Moesta, of Oscar; Mrs. Jane Ballentine, of 
Indiana county; Eli Yale, of this place, and Joseph Yale, of Elk county. There 
are also 14 grandchildren.


   The funeral of Mrs. W. H. Rhine, who died recently at Kittanning, was held 
from the Penfield Free Methodist church on Sunday afternoon, interment in 
Penfield cemetery.  She had lived many years at Tyler and was highly respected.
