Memorial Obituary  Entered into Peace March 2 1989

Sarah McIntire Richards
Brunswick, Ohio – Sarah McIntire Richards, 80, of 4076 Mapes Drive
Brunswick, Ohio and formerly of Houtzdale R.D. died Thursday, March 2 at the 
Evergreen Care Center, Medina, Ohio.
   Born Dec 7, 1908 in Houtzdale R.D., she was the daughter of Robert and 
Martha (Thomas) McIntire Sr.
   On Feb 13, 1925 she married Carl Richards, who preceded her in death on 
Jan 11,1975.She also was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, 
Martha Jane Carcioppoloe.
   She is survived by four daughters, Elizabeth Gallo of Philipsburg, Dorothy 
Cottor, of New Cumberland, Eleanor Carcioppoloe of Canoga Park, California and 
Carol Taskes of Mentor, Ohio; three sons, William of Brunswick, Ohio, Robert 
of Chicago, Ill, and Carl of Medina, Ohio; 22 grandchildren and 15 great 
grandchildren.
   Services will be held Monday at 10 am from the Birger A. Freeburg Funeral 
Home, Houtzdale, with Rev. Wayne Gallo officiating.  Interment will follow in 
I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Brisbin.
   Friends will be received after 2 pm today, Sunday afternoon and evening and 
until time of services Monday at the funeral home.

Typed as presented in The Progress. Errors are as follows: date of marriage is 
Feb. 13, 1926 according to her Marriage Cert. Daughter's Martha Jane and 
Eleanor's last name misspelled- Carcioppolo. Daughter Dorothy's last name 
misspelled should be Cotter.
