BROCKWAY (PA) RECORD, July 24, 1991

Ralph M. Schuckers, 93, of Punxsutawney RD3 died Friday, July 19, 1991 at the 
Dubois Regional Medical Center West. He was a retired farmer and miner.

Mr. Schuckers was born October 8, 1897 in Pine Creek Township, the son of 
Homer G. and Mary Ann (Snyder) Schuckers. He married the former Mae Weaver on 
May 29, 1934; she survives. 

He was a member of the First English Lutheran church. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Montier of Punxsutawney 
RD 3 and Doyle of Big Run; a daughter, Mary Ann Patterson of West Point, Va; a 
brother Ernest DeHaven Schuckers of Gary, Ind.; four grandchildren and two 
great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers; Lawrence, Charles 
and Herbert and a sister Cora Brown. 

Funeral service was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday at the Deeley Funeral Home, 
Punxsutawney with the Rev. David Saylor officiating. Interment was in Lakelawn 
Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.

*His obituary above states he was born in 1897, however his WW I Draft Card 
reads 1895.
