M. ARLENE SCHUCKERS

M. Arlene Schuckers, 78, 14899 Route 322, Brookville, died Monday at DuBois 
Regional Medical Center West in DuBois.

Born July 1, 1927, in Ohl, she was the daughter of the late Harry Rufus and 
Minnie Frances Spare Brosius. She was married to Mervin C. Schuckers Sept. 27, 
1946. He survives.

She was a homemaker and worked for Sylvania in Brookville.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers and spending time with her family.

She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. James (Janice D.) Kupetz of Erie, Mrs. 
David (Shirley A.) Riddle of Seneca and Debra S. Koladish and Mrs. Mark 
(Melissa J.) Buck, both of Brookville; two sons, Terry L. Schuckers and 
Douglas M. Schuckers, both of Brookville; one brother, Earl Brosius of Ohl; 10 
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers: Gerald, Ernest, Stewart and 
William Brosius; and two sisters, Mildred Roush and Ellen Hetrick.

SCHUCKERS: M. Arlene, 14899 Route 322, Brookville, died March 20, 2006. 
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the McKinney 
Funeral Home in Brookville. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday 
at the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas J. Parlette officiating. Burial will 
be in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville. Memorial donations may be made to 
a charity of the donor's choice.
