SIDNEY SERENO - Funeral mass for Sidney Sereno, 56, Brockport was celebrated 
Saturday, Dec. 29, from the Holy Cross Church at 10 a.m. with Rev. William 
Cici celebrant. Interment followed in the St. Tobias Cemetery, Brockway.

Mr. Sereno died in the DuBois Hospital, Dec. 26, friends were received at the 
Carlson Funeral Home, Brockway. Graveside military services were conducted by 
the Brockway American Legion, Parson Marnati Post 95. Mr. Sereno was born in 
DuBois Feb. 19, 1917, the son of Joseph and Mary Lavalia Sereno. He was 
married to the former Nina Cyone who survives.

He was a member of the Holy Cross Church, Brandy Camp, the Brockport Army Navy 
Club, and employee of the Brockway Clay Company and a WW II veteran.

Surviving besides his wife are four brothers: Frank, Johnsonburg; James, 
California; Francis & Stanley, both of Erie. A sister, Mrs. Jennie Pedicino of 
Uniontown also survives.
