J. LEARN SHAFFER

Of Rosemead, Calif., formerly of Houtzdale RD, died at 8:10 p.m. Sunday, 
Nov. 16, 1975, at City of Hope Research Hospital, Duarte, Calif., 
following an extended illness.  Mr. Shaffer was a mechanic for Clayton 
Products Co.  He was born Oct. 31, 1911, in Starford, a son of Merritt 
and Bessie (Learn) Shaffer, and married Mildred Russo of New Jersey.  
Surviving are his wife and six brothers and sisters. Mrs. Jane Roan of 
Rosemead, Mrs. Martha Hicks of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. Kathryn Ingram of 
Altoona, Valentine of Jersey Shore, Claude of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and 
George of East Aurora, N.Y.  Friends will be received in the Roy C. 
Addieman & Son Funeral Home, El Monte, Calif., from noon to 9 p.m. 
Thursday.
