McClellan Shimel   


McClellan Shimel, a former resident of Philipsburg and a son of the late Mr. 
and Mrs. Isaac Shimel, died on Saturday at New Kensington, Pa., where he had 
for some years, been making his home. His death followed an operation made 
necessary on account of blood poision resulting from an injury to his knee, 
which occurred seven weeks ago.

Deceased was born at Wallaceton, and completed his 50th year in January. He was 
a carpenter by occupation, and a man who had many friends.  

Surviving are his wife, two sons and one daughter and the following brothers 
and sisters, viz: George, of Morrisdale; Hiram, of New Kensington; Wallace, 
residing in California; Mrs. Fred Smith, Philipsburg; Mrs. George Boyer, of 
Patton, and Mrs. Theodore Everette and Mrs. Sheridan
Walk, of New Kensington.  

Funeral services will be held at New Kensington today.
