Mrs. Eva Taszreak, 72, of Mahaffey RD 1, died Thursday April 26, 1990 at
Blose-McGregor Health Care Center, Punxsutawney.  Mrs. Taszreak was born
January 18, 1918 in Smoke Run, Clearfield County, the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Slipko, She married Thomas Taszreak, who preceded her in death. 
A lifetime resident of Clearfield and Indiana Counties, she was a member of
St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ramey.  She is survived by one
daughter, Mrs.
Betty Jane (Taszreak) Davies of Pulaski, NY; one son, Thomas Eugene Taszreak
of Detroit, Mich.; four grandchildren; one sister and two brothers.  In
addition to her husband, she was preceded by her parents  A blessin service
will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Pifer Funeral Home Punxsutawney.  The
Very Re. Theodore Seginak, O.S.B., will officiate.  Interment will be at
Pearce Cemetery, Canoe Township.  Friend will be received from 11 a.m to 1
p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Additional Comments:
Parents name should have been Mr. and Mrs. Michael Slipko.  Sister should
have read Mary Meshognek of Far Rockaway, NY, brother John Slipko, LI,
NY.,and George Slipko, Ambridge, PA
