PAUL THOMPSON, 59
TAYLORS, S.C. - Paul A. Thompson, 59, of 1519 Brushy Creek Road, Taylors, 
S.C., formerly of Brockway, died Sunday, July 4, 1993 at St. Francis Hospital 
in Greenville, S.C.
Mr. Thompson was born May 29, 1934 in Brockway, the son of Charles Andrew and 
Helen Josephine Briggs Thompson. He was married to Kathleen Tuttle Thompson on 
Dec. 29, 1957.
A graduate of Brockway High School and Bob Jones University in Greenville, 
S.C., he taught music in public and private schools. He was a member of the 
Hope Independent Presbyterian Church of Greenville.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters: Mrs. Mark (Sherrie) Johnson of 
Littleton, Colo. and Mrs. Steve (Cindy) Skaggs of Greenville, S.C.; two 
sisters, Jean T. Brubaker of DuBois and Yvonne T. Humphreys of Orlando, Fla.; 
a brother, Charles T. Thompson of Painesville, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held yesterday in Greenville, S.C. Memorial donations 
may be made to the Hope Independent Presbyterian Church, 20 Sharon Drive, 
Greenville, S.C. 29607
