The unrelenting death messenger has deprived another family in our midst of a loving mother, and husband of a dear wife. Ella Francis, wife of Fred Tracy, died on Monday evening just before 6 o'clock, aged 32 years, 4 months and 5 days. Her sickness was of but a few days; she was mostly comparatively free from suffering. On Monday morning, a sleep that it was thought would be refreshing, overcame the patient, but upon her awakening, it was found that she had not gained the strength expected, and at 4 P.M. she became unconscious and remained so until the end. A sister, Miss Julia R. Kane, of St. Mary's, arrived in the evening before her death, but was not recognized. During Mrs. Tracy's brief sickness, she seemed impressed with the idea that she could not recover, and the day of her death called the family about her and expressed a wish as to how they should live after her departure. He councelings were those of a Christian wife and mother, and are never to be forgotten by those who loved her. A family of six bright children, three boys and three girls, all under the age of twelve years, the youngest about two weeks old, is left to grow to manhood and womanhood without the love of mother. The funeral took place on Wednesday at the Catholic Church, of which denomination the deceased was a consistent member. The body was placed in a handsome double-topped walnut finished casket, with silver mountings. A cross adorned the head-piece, and a name plate and silver vase of flowers were further down on the lid. The dead lady's parents arrived from St. Mary's on Tuesday evening to attend the funeral.
