Walther, 67, of 412 West Locust St., Clearfield, died in the Clearfield Hospital at 5 a. m. today. Mrs. Walther, the wife of Carl S. Walther, retired in 1968 as a teacher in the Clearfield Area School District. She was a member of the West Side United Methodist Church and a teacher in the primary department of the Sunday School. Mrs. Walther was also a past royal matron of the Amaranth, and a member of the Eastern Star and the Retired Teachers Association. She was born Oct. 11, 1906, at Clearfield, a daughter of Wright E. and Dora (Kyler) Turner.In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons: James E. Walther of Fayetteville, Ark., and David W. Walther, at home; and four granddaughters. Also surviving, are one brother and four sisters: William Turner, Johnstown; Mrs. Clair (Vera) Jury, Leesburg, Fla.; Mrs. Russell (Leota) Boardman, Reno, Nev.; Mrs. Robert (Geraldine) Bradshaw, Mitchelville, Md., and Mrs. Joseph (Nellye) Hall, Clearfield. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 a. m. from the Bennett Funeral Home with the Rev. John Wesley Stamm officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p. m. and 7 to 9 p. m, Sunday and until time of services Monday.
