REYNOLDSVILLE (PA) STAR, January 6, 1955

A. E. Wayland Died Thursday in Hospital

Albert E Wayland, of Falls Creek R. D. 1, died Thursday morning, Dec. 30th at 
2 o'clock in the Maple Avenue Hospital. He was 69. Born April 9, 1885, in 
Reynoldsville,he was the son of George and Mary (Deemer) Wayland. On March 11, 
1909 he was married to the former Mary Mae Hadden.

He was a resident of the Falls Creek area most of his life. He was a member of 
the Christian Missionary Alliance Chruch.

Surviving him are his widow and the following children: Mrs Velma Broker of 
Philadelphia; Mrs. Beula Kerestes of Burler, Mrs. Helen Ostrum of Emporium, 
Mrs. Mary Ruth Larimer and Miss Catherine Wayland, both of Falls Creek, Mrs. 
Edna Jones of Williamsport, and Robert Wayland of Falls Creek. Also surviving 
him are two sisters, Mrs. Charles Bliss of Reynoldsville R. D. 2 and Mrs. 
Clair Armagost of Reynoldsville R D 3; four brothers, Frank of Falls Creek, 
William and Ralph both of Reynoldsville R D 3, and George of Georgia, 13 
grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted from the Paul J. Short Funeral Chapel Saturday 
afternoon, January 1,1955, at 1:30, the Rev. M. S. Haag officiating. Interment 
was made in the Morningside Cemetery.
