He had been in ill health for about a year. Mr. White was born at Smethport (PA) April 12, 1885, a son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Fullmer-Good) White. He was a coal miner by occupation, retiring eight years ago and making his home in Leavittsburg, Ohio, for the past six years. He is survived by his stepmother, Mrs. Rhoda White of Greene, Ohio, and the following five daughters and nine sons: Mrs. Edith Haight and Mrs. Emma Carter, both of Clearfield; Miss Ruth White, Polk, PA.; Mrs. Bessie Gearhart and Miss Mildred White, both of Leavittsburg; John, Donald, Joseph, Leavittsburg; Ward and David, Warren; Charles, Hyde; Harry, U.S.Air Force in Georgia; William, Kittanning; and William Irwin, Salem, Ohio. Three sisters, four brothers, thirty-four grandchildren and three great- grandchildren also survive. His wife preceded him in death some years ago. Funeral services will be held Friday night at 9 o'clock from the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home in Warren where friends will be received from 7:30 until the hour of service. Graveside services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Centre Cemetery at Hyde. Additional Comments: James was married twice, the first wife, Clara Horner White and their child Mary dying in 1918 and buried in Altoona, PA. He also had a half-brother, Adam Howard Good who died in 1927. His mother Margaret (Mammy) Good died 15 Oct 1945, just seven days before his second wife Clara Gifford Irwin White died on 22 Oct 1945.
