MRS. MARTILLA WILLIAMS,

Widow of James G. Williams and mother of Mrs. Frank Shugart of Altoona, 
died Sunday afternoon at her home at Gazzam, Clearfield county, of a 
complication of diseases, aged 69 years.  She is survived by one sister 
and the following children: A. E. of Grampian, Mrs. R. R. McNeel of 
Juniata, Captain A. D. of Rampart City, Alaska; C. E. of Colorado 
Springs, Col., Mrs. J. F. Thompson of Woodland, Pa., Mrs. Frank Shugart 
of this city, J. W. of Gazzam and Blair at home.  The funeral took 
place Tuesday afternoon at Gazzam, interment being made at that place.
