All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/clearfield/ ________________________________________________ CLEARFIELD PROGRESS, Clearfield, PA, April 14, 1931 Richard Wilson Dies Of Heart Disease; To Be Buried Thursday Richard Lee Wilson died at 2:00 o'clock Monday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Robb on Williams street, death being due to heart disease. Mr. Wilson has been a sufferer from this ailment for years, but has been improving recently. The attack that ended in his death lasted only two days. Mr. Wilson, who was 31 years of age, is survived by his wife and one son, Richard Lee, Jr. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Wilson, one brother Cedric W. of Hyde and one sister, Mrs. Lewis Kellar of Barnesboro, also survive. For several years when his health permitted him to work, Mr. Wilson was employed at the nickel mill in Hyde City. Following his marriage to Mabel Robb on September 16, 1925, they made their home at Hyde and Mr. Wilson took an active part in the work of Centre Methodist Church, of which he and been a member since boyhood. He filled a number of offices in the church and Sunday school. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Funeral services will be held at Centre M. E. Church Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. The party will leave the Robb home here about 1:30. Services will be in charge of Rev. G. C. Patterson of the Centre Church and Rev. P. T. Gorman of West Side M. E. Church. Interment in Centre Cemetery.
