Photo of Centre School at Hyde sent from Walter D. Lawhead in Lawrence 
Township to his grandmother Mary Caldwell Fleming in Curwensville.  This 
school was along the railroad tracks by the train depot and consisted of two 
one room buildings.  Walter called the school Centre but may not have been 
official name.  The lady in the middle of the second row with medals on her 
chest may be the teacher.  RHLawhead has a postcard from his teacher in that 
timeframe which is signed Mary Schrot.  
1st row L-R the third male is Robert Harris Lawhead
2nd row L-R the first male is Thomas Fleming Lawhead
3rd row L-R the only male is Walter Dudley Lawhead
If your ancestor lived in Hyde in that timeframe they are probably in this 
picture.  Who are they?
