This 8.5"x11" original photo was handed down from my great grandmother.  The
story from my grandmother (now deceased) was that it was a photo of her uncle's
funeral.  He was a pilot who had his own plane, a rare thing in those days, and
died in a plane crash.  It was said the whole town came out for the double
funeral, and it looks like there were over 100 attendees.  This would have been
most likely Smith Mill or Janesville, but possibly Ramey, Madara, Coalport,
Houtzdale, or maybe some other town in that immediate area.  He was possibly 
buried at Brisbin IOOF Cemetery),

We also have shrapnel from the plane, a small plate from the plane that says "US
ARMY" and has the serial number, and some burnt scraps of his shirt, all from
the wreckage.  It was all kept, along with some roses from the funeral, pressed
between the pages of a children's book, which I noticed was copyright 1923. 
We also have a few photos of him as well.  His name I discovered was
RAYMOND F. DORE, son of HENRY DORE and VADA CURRY, through census records and
his WW1 draft card.  

If anyone knows anything, recognizes anyone, or has an idea as to how to best go
about finding out some info, please let me know. Also if someone can better
pinpoint the date from clothing styles, that would be helpful as well.
