That church (Nebo) was struck by lightning in mid-May of 1967 and burned completely to the ground within about an hour's time. After that, the members of First Lutheran then merged with Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran church in Lanse, PA to form the church that exists today -Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
