Velma Mae Ball Porter was born July 3, 1892 and died in August 1970 in 
Pittsburgh, PA.  She was the daughter of Ulysses Simpson Grant Ball and Margery 
Elvetta Straw who lived in Beccaria Township, Clearfield County, PA.  Velma 
married Paul Wilson Porter Sr. 1887-1970 on October 22, 1914.
