Marriage License Docket of the Orphans' Court of Elk County
Certificate No.:     411

Milan E. Lucore to Abbie Smith

On this 17th day of Sept A.D. 1888 before Squire Abel Gresh appeared Mr. Milan 
E. Lucore and applied for a license for the marriage of Mr. Milan E. Lucore, 
white, a resident of the Village of Penfield, County of Clearfield, State of 
PA, aged 31 years, - months and - days, to Miss Abbie Smith, white, a resident 
of the Township of Fox, County of Elk, State of PA, aged 18 years - months 
and - days.

Same day the Clerk of the Orphans' Court aforesaid having inquired upon oath 
of said applicant relative to the legality of the said contemplated marriage; 
and it appearing that there is no legal impediment thereto, a marriage license 
in due form was issued authorizing any Minister of the Gospel, Justice of the 
Peace, or other person authorized by law to solemnize marriages, to join said 
Milan E. Lucore and Abbie Smith together in the Holy Sgtate of Matrimony.

And the said Abbie Smith being a minor the consent of Henry Smith and Amelia 
Smith, parents of the said minor to the contemplated marrriage was first given 
before said Clerk personally (by proper legal certificate filed and duly 
signed, attested and acknowledged.)

Relationship of parties, if any, before Marriage: None

Former State of Man, Married or Single: Single

Former State of Woman, Married or Single: Single

Now this 24th day of September, A.D. 1888, there was received and filed here 
certificate as follows, to-wit:
 
"I hereby certify, that on the twenty-second day of September A.D. one 
thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, at Weedville, PA, Mr. Milan E. Lucore 
and Miss Abbie Smith were by me united in marriage in accordance with license 
issued by the Clerk of the Orphans' Court of Elk County, Pennsylvania, 
numbered 411."
