I hereby Certify, That on this 13th day of February One Thousand Nine Hundred 
and twenty six at Cumberland Carl Richards and Sarah McIntyre were by me 
united in Marriage in accordance with the License issued by the Clerk of Court 
for Allegany County, in the State of Maryland.

Additional Comments:
McIntire vs McIntyre...Sarah,her parents and siblings used the McIntire 
spelling variation. Parents Robt. and Martha (Thomas) McIntire. Genealogical 
records show a variation in usage by different family branches. In fact, 
handwritten birth cert. of Sarah uses the McIntyre spelling as does this 
Marriage License. Tracing roots becomes very difficult. Assumptions made by 
those audibly collecting information?
