Written: March 29, 1897

In the name of God Amen! 
    I, Mary Etta Burkholder, of Woodward Township, Clearfield County, Pa., 
being in good bodily health, and of sound and disposing mind and memory, and 
desirous of settling my worldly affairs, do hereby make thie, my will and 
testatment.
     I hereby direct that all of my property, personal or mixed, shall be 
converted in money and divided into seven equal sharees: and I hereby devise 
and bequeath one equal shre to Lillian B Burkholder, one equal share to Harry 
G Burkholder, one equal share to Alive May Burkholder, one equal share to 
Amanda Maud Burkholder; one equal share to James Raymond Burkholder; one equal 
share to Bessie R. Burkholder; and one equal share to Mabel G. Burkholder; all 
of whom are my beloved children.
     I hereby and herein nominate and appoint Wm A Gould of Brisbin, Pa, as 
administrator of my estate.
     In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this 29th day 
of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety seven.

On this 21 day of May A. d. 1924, before me Thomas G Peoples Register for the 
Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for said sounty 
personally came James R. Burkholder and Harry G Burkholder who being duly 
sworn according to law do depose and say that they are acquainted with the 
handwriting of Mary Etta Burkholder late of Juniata in said county and state, 
deceased and have seen the said Mary Etta Burkholder write and verily believe 
that the signature of the said Mary Etta Burkholder attached or affixed to the 
end of a certain paper bearing date of Marcy 29, 1897 and produced before me 
for probate as the last will and testament of the said Mary Etta Burkholder 
deceased.
