Bell the sum of ten dollars besides one thousand dollars that I have already given to her per her receipt dated July 18, A. D. 1871. 4 I give and bequeath unto Margaret Jackson married to Andrew T. Jackson the sum of ten dollars besides five hundred and twenty five dollars that I have already given to her as per her receipt dating August 23 a. D. 1869. 5 I give and bequeath unto Charlotte Mays married to John B. Mays the sum of ten dollars besides five hundred dollars that I have already given to her as per her receipt dated April 30, 1873. 6 I give and bequeath unto my son Henry Snyder all that certain farm where he now resides situate in Pike Township County of Clearfield and state aforesaid containing one hundred and sixteen acres and allowance joining lands of Wm Catheail, J. J. Bloom and others known as a part of the Curry property to have and to hold the same during his natural life and to his heirs forever. 7 I give and bequeath unto Eliza Sloppey married to Philip Sloppey the sum of ten dollars besides five hundred dollars that I have already given to her as per her receipt dated May the fifth A. D. 1873. 8 I give and bequeath unto my son Samuel Snyder all that certain farm where he now resides situate in Pike Township county of Clearfield & state aforesaid containing one hundred and eighty seven acres and the allowance joining lands of Wm A Bloom, David Starr and others known as the Old Curry homestead to have and to hold the same and every part thereof during his natural lifetime and to his heirs forever. 9 I give and bequeath unto Martha A Snyder the sum of ten dollars besides one thousand dollars that I have already given to her as per her receipt dated April twentieth AD 1881. 10 I give and bequeath unto Nancy E Lewis married to James E. Lewis the sum of ten dollars besides one thousand dollars that I have already given to her as per her receipt dated April the 20 AD 1881. 11 I give and bequeath unto S. Jane Snyder the sum of one thousand and fifty dollars to be paid to her within twelve month after my decd. 12 I give and bequeath unto Hannah A. Snyder the sum of one thousand and fifty dollars to be paid to her within twelve months after my decd. 13 I give and bequeath unto Sarah Snyder the sum of one thousand and fifty dollars to be paid within twelve months after my decd. 14 I give and bequeath unto my son Abraham Snyder the sum of five hundred dollars to be paid to him when he commences to farm the aforesaid River farm when he gets possession of the said farm from his mother. 15 I Abraham Snyder herein except and reserve one fourth of an acre out of the farm herein bequeathed to my son Samuel Snyder for burying ground for the use of my family forever also as much money out of my money as will build an iron fence round the grave of myself and beloved wife the aforesaid piece of ground to be choosen (sic) by my son Samuel Snyder. I also give and bequeath unto my sons Samuel and Henry my thrashing machine & drill and they are to do their mothers thrashing free of charge. I give and bequeath unto my dear and beloved wife all that certain farm which I now reside on situate in Pike Township County aforesaid containing one hundred and two acres more or less and bounded by lands of F. C. Bell, Wm Price and W. B. of Susquhanna River with all the rents issues and property during her natural lifetime and after her death I give and bequeath the aforesaid farm to my son Abraham Snyder his natural lifetime and to his heirs forever. I also give & bequeath to my dear wife all of my horses, cows, sheep, hogs, waggons, plows, harrows and all farming implements also seventy five bushels of wheat one hundred bushels of oats and one hundred bushels of shelled corn and also all my household and kitchen furniture and also after all my heirs be fully paid according to this my will then my exe shall proceed and collect all money and sell all property not herein provided for and loan the same to some good ? bank or good free hold security for all money and for the payment of the interest annually and the principal on demand and said interest to be paid to my widow annually during her natural lifetime and after her decease my said Exe shall collect all money and after paying all expenses shall divide all money between all my surviving heirs or their children equally. And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint Samuel Snyder and Henry Snyder my two sons of Pike Township County of Clearfield Executors of this my will hereby revoking and making void all former and other wills by me at any time here to fore made and declaring this to be my last will and Testament in witness whereof I the same testator Abraham Snyder have to this my last will and Testament set my hand and seal the 23 day of Feb, AD 1882. Snyder Codicil Be it known that I Abraham Snyder of the Township of Pike County of Clearfield and state of Pennsylvania a farmer made and declare my last will and testament ? becoming date the 23 day of Feb AD 1882 I the said Abraham Snyder by this present codicil do ratify and conform my said will and testament and so further revoke the same as to the parts and portions hereinafter mentioned 1 I have herein my will bequeathed to my son Henry M. Snyder 116 acres of land as mentioned in will which I have since that time deeded to him in fee simple and have his receipt in full for fifteen hundred dollars bearing date Jan 29, 1885 for his share of my estate. 2 I have herein my will bequeathed to my son Samuel Snyder 187 acres of land as mentioned in my will which I have since that time deeded to him in fee simple and have his receipt in full for $ two thousand dollars bearing date June 29, 1885 for his share of my estate in full. 3 Susannah J. Snyder intermarried to A. F. Bloom, she received the sum of ten hundred and fifty dollars and I have her receipt in full bearing date Feb 6 1885 which is her share in full. 4 Hannah A. Snyder. She received the sum of ten hundred and fifty dollars and I have her receipt in full bearing date Feb. 6, 1885 which is her share in full. 5 Eliza Sloppey she received the sum of five hundred dollars and I have her receipt in full bearing date May 5, 1873. I hold note against Eliza and Philip Sloppey for one hundred and thirty dollars dated March 30 AD 1880 which is to be deducted from her interest in my estate at the final settlement and division after my death & the death of my beloved wife without interest now I Abraham Snyder have willed and bequeathed to each of my heirs and to my beloved wife all my goods and chattels lands and tenements after my decease and my will is that all the money and notes bonds or ready cash after the death of myself and my beloved wife and all expenses fully paid the balance shall be divided equally among my heirs, Signed, sealed published and declared by the said testator Abraham Snyder this to be my last will and testament set my hand and seal the 5 day of March A.D. 1887 Abraham Snyder (seal) Signed Sealed and ... names as witnesses at the request of Abraham Snyder James M. Kauffman, Dept Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in deed for the County and state afore mentioned personally appeared James M. McKee Saml Snyder and Hannah A Snyder the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument of writing which purports to be the last will and Testament of Abraham Snyder late of Pike Twp deceased and being sworn according to law do depose and say that they were present and saw and heard the testator sign and publish pronounce and declare the same as and for his last will and testament and this doing thereof he was of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief. County of Clearfield SS Be it remembered that on the 25 day of July 1874 before me E. Kauffman, Dept Register for the probate of wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for the county and state aforesaid personally appeared James McKee and Henry M. Snyder the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument of writing which purports to be the last will and codicil of Abraham Snyder late of Pike Twp deceased and being sworn according to law did depose and say that they were present and saw and heard the testator sign seal publish pronounce and declare the same as and for the codicil to his last will and testament and at the time of signing he was of sound disposing mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief. Kauffman, Dept Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for said County came Samuel Snyder and Henry M. Snyder who being duly questioned say that as Executors the last will and testament of Abraham Snyder late of Pike Township deceased you (sic) will well and truly administer the goods and chattels rights and credits of the said deceased according to law and diligently and faithfully regard and will hereby comply with the provisions of the law relating to collateral inheritance.
