Molson, colored, aged about 64 years died at his residence corner of 14th street and Huron ave., Renovo, Wednesday morning at 4 o'clock of hemorrhages of the lungs. He entered the Renovo hospital Tuesday, July 6, and was removed to his home Tuesday afternoon, July 13. He was born at Lock Haven and resided in Renovo about 1 year. He is survived by his wife and 2 sons David and Clarence, of Renovo; and 4 daughters, viz: Eliza at home, Mrs. George Smith and Mrs. William Williams, Jersey Shore and Mrs. Frank Washington of Altoona. Mr. Molson was a barber by trade and was employed by William Sutheran, of Renovo, for 7 years. The deceased was well known in Renovo and Lock Haven. Molson, colored, a barber employed by William Suthern, of this place, died on Wednesday morning at his residence at the corner of Fourteenth street and Huron avenue, of hemorrhages of the lungs, aged 64 years. The deceased was a former resident of Lock Haven. He is survived by his widow and two sons, Clarence and Charles, of Renovo, and four daughters, Mrs. George Smith and Mrs. Wilhan Williams, of Jersey Shore; Mrs. Frank Washington, of Altoona, and Miss Eliza Molson, at home. The remains were taken to Lock Haven on Friday morning for burial. Additional Comments: Samuel Garrison Molson, son of David W. and Mary (Tolbert) Molson, was actually born in Elmira, Chemung County, NY. He moved to Lock Haven about 1855.
