Yost Daniel Lewis Yost, aged 42 years, of Bennage Heights, died suddenly Monday evening (Sept 28) at 7 o'clock at the home of Mack Conway at Laurel Run, near Beech Creek. Mr. Yost, a local drayman, was hauling the household goods of the Conway family from Allison township to Laurel Run when he suddenly became ill. Death was due to apoplexy, according to Dr. W. J. Shoemaker, county coroner, who was called. In addition to his wife, Mr. Yost leaves his mother, Mrs. George Styers, of Bennage Heights, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Benjamin Martin, Williamsport; Mrs. Henry Heickel, of Grier, Idaho; Mrs. Oscar Oldberg, of Bellefonte; Clarence Yost, of Sugar Run, and Charles Yost, of Bennage Heights. The body was taken to the home of his brother, Charles, where funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Ensign Ward Nicholson, of the Salvation Army. Interment was made in the Flemington cemetery. Additional Comments: Daniel's mother is the former Anna M. Gabrick. She was married 1st to Daniel Yost; 2nd to George Thomas Styers.
