Brown buwbrown@comcast.net August 21, 2008, 3:06 pm Dear Sister Carrie, I intended to have answered your letter long ago but neglected to do so. We are all well. We have a little girl four weeks old last sunday. Have not named her yet. He have not heard from Sarah since her babe was born. Mr. Rollins had a fall from a platform at the Jale last Thursday and was badly hurt. I wish you would send the Recept for the Baby jumper you spoke of once. There has been a great deal of diptheria and scarlet fever in town but we have escaped. We live in a very healthy place. I see by the Scranton Republican that Sadie Hann or Derekson as she wants to be called lost her child. I saw a young man from Tunkhannock the other day. He said Oscar is waiting on a young lady who has some money. Write and let us know how you are getting along and what you call your Babe. Your Brother W.O. Holmes Additional Comments: Business stationery the same as in letter of June 19, 1877. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/pafiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
