Brown buwbrown@comcast.net August 21, 2008, 4:20 pm My Dear Sarah I think you are mistaken about writing me before. At any rte I did not get the letter. We are all well. Tean's eyes remain about the same. We had to get glasses for Christina when school commenced. She should have had them long ago. She seems much brighter since she has them. I am getting along first rate. Have all the work I can do with three men and part of the time have more. This week I have had six. I tied myself up badly to make the start, but will come out all right if things move along as well as they have. Ed worked in the shop all summer but is at school now. He is the largest boy I have got. He is a great student and very thorough in all he does. Bess is teaching at Allenwood, Union Co. I will inclose some of her letters which will tell you more of her than I can. Cood (?) is still agent at Cattawissa. His wife is teaching the school there again this year. Fred and his wife still live with her folks and get along nicely. We were all there for Thanksgiving dinner. I think Martin made a great mistake by not stoping to see us. Do not alow him to do so again. Send Flossy here for a while. I know she would enjoy it. Remember me to all. Your Brother W.O. Holmes Additional Comments: Letter written on business stationery: W.O. Holmes, contractor for heating by hot water or steam, first class plumbing a specialty. 218 and 220 Center Street, Bloomsburg, Pa.
