March 11, 1835. Letter to MG Hurley May 1854. " Note in 1854 the five children of Conrad appeared before MG Hurley in Columbia County, asking if they were entitled to additional funds due to their father's service and pension funds. There is no copy of this letter or it's reply in his pension file. A reference to it states their father Conrad died in 1830, and his widow in 1840. None of Conrad's children's names are mentioned in his file. There are additional forms in his file, which are very illegible and difficult to read. It appears they are court dates that Conrad appeared before the court in order to continue receiving his pension. Note Conrad REICHSWICK appears in the 1820, 1825 Pensioners Census for Columbia County. His name does not appear in the 1830 census. Apparently he died between January, and the time of the census in 1830.
