The Columbia Democrat (Bloomsburg, Pa.)., P. 3 August 5, 1837
"BY ADJOURNMENT, A certain Tract of Land, situate in Roaring creek township, 
Columbia county, adjoining lands of J. Cooper, Wm. G. Hurly, A. Starks, Leonard 
Roup, George Stine, and others, containing seventy-seven acres, whereon is 
erected a log house and a log barn.  About forty-six acres are cleared.  
Seized, taken in execution, and to be sold as the property of Jacob Roup.  By 
Isaiah Salmon, Sheriff."
