Republican or Bloomsburg Journal (unsure of which publication) - December 26, 1884 Mr. C. E. MOTT has temporarily constructed a photo gallery on Market Square. Republican - January 9, 1885 On Tuesday, Mr. Frank PURSELL, a son of William Pursell residing down in the valley was falling trees. One lodged against another, whereupon Mr. Pursell proceeded to chop that one down. The lodged tree swung around and struck Mr. P. on the back. His lower extremities are paralyzed and it is thought he will not recover.
