Written: September 21, 1866 Recorded: December 16, 1867 Henry Albaugh to James Wolf This Indenture, Made the twenty first day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Sixty six Between Henry Albaugh and Catharine his wife, of Mead Township Crawford Co. Pa. of the first part, and James Wolf of the Tp, county and State aforesaid, of the second part. Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Twelve Hundred Dollars lawfull money of the United States of America unto them well and truly paid by the said party of the second part at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, Have granted, bargained, sold, aliened enfeoffed, released, conveyed, and confirmed, and by these presents, do grant, bargain, sell, alien enfeoff, release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns. All that certain piece or parcel of land lying and being situated in the Township of Mead Crawford County and State of Penns-Bounded and described as follows, to wit- bounded on the North by public road, on the East by lane dividing same and land of John Fox, on the south by Jacob Smith and on the west by George Hurst - Containing Fourteen Acres of land, more or less, and being the same bequeathed to said Catharine by her Father Joseph Fox, by his last will and testament dated the 20th day of April AD 1864 and recorded in Will Book C in Crawford County page 518, reference had will more fully appear- Together with all and singular the rights liberties privileges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereto belonging and the revisions and remainders rents, issues and profits thereof, And also all the estate and interest whatsoever of them the said party of the first part in law or equity of in to or out of the same To Have and To Hold the premises hereby granted or Intended so to be, with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, to the use of the said party of the second his heirs and assigns forever_, And the said party of the first part their heirs executors and administrators, do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, that they the said party of the first part their heirs the above mentioned and described/***** with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part, against the said party of the first part and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsover lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents~ In Witness Whereof the said party of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and years first above written Sealed and delivered in presence of Wm Beatty State of Pennsylvania (One 50/100 dollars U S Rev) Crawford County ss Henry Albaugh (seal) Catharine Albaugh (seal) Before me the subscriber a justice of the Peace in and for the said county personally came the above married Henry Albaugh and Catharine his wife and acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed, to the end that the same might be recorded as such_She the said Catharine being of full age and by me separate and apart from her said husband duly examined and the contents of the above Indenture fully made known to her, declared that she did voluntarily and of her own free will and accord and withoug any coercion or compulsion on the part of her said husband sign seal execute and deliver the same--In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty first day of September 1866.
