  David Harper To Robert Harper

  This Indenture Made the Tenth day of September in the Year of our Lord One 
  thousand Eight hundred and Forty One Between David Harper Sen'r. of the 
  Township of Vernon County of Crawford and State of Pennsylvania and Mary his 
  wife of the first part and Robert Harper of the Township County and State 
  aforesaid of the second part.  Witnesseth That the said parties of the first 
  part for and in Consideration of the Sum of Two Hundred Fifty dollars to them 
  in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt of which is 
  hereby acknowledged, Hath granted, bargained sold released and confirmed and 
  by these presents Doth grant bargain Sell release and confirm unto the said 
  party of the second part, his heirs and assigns all that certain piece or 
  parcel of land situate in Vernon Township Crawford County and State of 
  Pennsylvania Bounded and described as follows, viz. Beginning at a post, the 
  north East corner thence South sixty Eight perches by lands of second party to 
  a post, Thence by hand of second party west sixty two perches to a post, 
  Thence by land of James Beatty sixty eight perches to a post a Corner of said 
  Beatty's land and Thence East by land of first party Sixty two perches to the 
  place of beginning, Containing Twenty four Acres and allowance of Six per cent 
  for ??? etc. be the same more or less.  Being part of a larger tract of land 
  conveyed to the party of the party of the [repeated] first part by William 
  Dick by deed bearing date the Seventh day of September in the year of our Lord 
  One thousand Eight hundred and one, reference thereto will more fully and at 
  large appear.  Together with all and singular the hereditaments and 
  appurtenances thereunto belonging and the remainders and reversions rents 
  issues and profits thereof To Have and To Hold The premises hereby granted 
  with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and 
  assigns to the use of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns 
  forever.  And the said parties of the first part, and their heirs the premises 
  hereby granted with the appurtenances against all and every person or persons 
  whatsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof to the 
  said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns shall and will warrant 
  and forever defend by these presents.  In witness whereof The said parties to 
  these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and seals the day 
  and year first above written.

  Sealed and delivered in the presence of
  W. W. Dick
  
  Crawford County, SS.  Before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace in and 
  for said County personally appeared the above named David Harper Sr. and Mary 
  his wife and acknowledged the above written indenture to be their act and deed 
  and desired it to be so recorded.  She the said Mary being of lawful age was 
  by me examined separate and apart from her husband and the contents of the 
  said indenture having been first made known to her declared that she did of 
  her own free will and accord sign seal and as her act and deed deliver the 
  same without compulsion or coercion of or from said husband.  In Witness of 
  which I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Tenth day of September in the 
  year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Forty One.
