Lorz and Louisa Lorz, his wife, of the City of Meadville County of Crawford and State of Pennsylvania parties of the first part and Margaret Hogan of the same place party of the second part, Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the of the sum of Fifteen Hundred (1500$) Dollars, lawful money of the United States of America, unto them well and truly paid by the said party of the second part, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and, by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, All that crertain piece or lot of land situate in the Fourth Ward in the City of Meadville, county of Crawford and State of pennsylvania bounded and described as follows, to wit: On the north by other lot of first party hereto fifty (50) feet, on the east by lot of William Clancy seventy two (72) feet, on the south by an alley fifty (50) feet, and on the west by French street, seventy two (72) feet, being part of the same lot conveyed to first party hereto by Timothy Fox and wife by deed recorded in Deed Book Q No 5, page 137. Together with all and singular the buildings improvements, ways, waters, watercourses, rights liberties privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rents, income and profits thereof; and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim, and demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part in law, equity, or otherwise howsoever, of, in, and to the same and every part thereof: To have and to hold the said piece or lot of land with the hereditaments and premises hereby granted, or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, FOREVER. And the said parties of the first part, for their heirs, executors and administrators do by these presents, covenent, grant and Agree to and with the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns, that they the said parties of the first part, their heirs, all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted, or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns against them the said parties and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof shall and will warrant and forever defend. In Witness Whereof, The said parties of the first part have to these presents set their hand and seals. Dated the day and year first above written. On this Eighteenth day of September 1895, before me, a Justice of the Peace in & for said County, personally came the avove-named Fred Lorz and Louisa Lorz, his wife and acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed, and desired the same to be recorded as such. She, the said Louisa Lorz being of full age and by me examined separate and apart from her said husband, and the contents of the said Indenture being first made fully known to her declared that she did of her own free will and accord, sign and seal, and, as her act and deed, deliver the same without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband.
