McCullough, (widow) formerly of Meadville Pennsylvania, now of Congress Park, Cook County Illinois, party of the first part, and Fred Lorz, of Meadville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, party of the second part, Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of Four Thousand Dollars, lawful money of the United States of America, unto Her well and truly paid by the said party of the second part, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, All that certain lot, piece or parcel of land situate in the Second Ward of the City of Meadville, County of Crawford and State of Pennsylvania, bounded and cescribed as follows: Beginning at a point on the north side of Randolph Street-one hundred twenty nine feet and six inches east of the intersection of Randolph Street with Cullum Street, at the Southeast corner of lot now or formerly of Essie E. Gaskill, thence northwardly along east line of said Gaskill lot three hundred and fifty feet to a post; thence eastwardly on a line parallel with Randolph Street one hundred and twenty eight feet more or less to the west line of lot owned by Cutler Bros.; thence southwardly along said Cutler Bros. west line three hundred and fifty feet to Randolph Street; thence westwardly along the north line of Randolph Street one hundred twenty eight feet, more or less, to said Gaskill lot, the place of beginning, and being the same lot conveyed by George S. Cullum and wife Oct. 6, 1898 to Mary McCullough, as per deed recorded Nov. 8, 1899 in Deed Book 151, page 443. The above described land is conveyed subject to payment by second party of a certain debt aggregating Three Thousand Dollars, secured by mortgages of record upon the land described said mortgages to be paid by Second party as part of the consideration named for said land. Together with all and singular the improvements, ways waters, watercourses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenance whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part, in law, equity, or otherwise howsoever, of, in, and to the same and every part thereof. To Have and to Hold the said described land, the hereditaments and premises hereby granted, or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, FOREVER. And the said party of the first part for herself, her heirs, executors and administrators does by these presents, covenant, grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that she the said party of the first part, her heirs, and all and singular the hereditaments and premises hereinabove described and granted, or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, against her, the said party of the first part, and her heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof shall and will warrant and forever defend.
