TEASDALE Jack W. Teasdale, 67, of 527 Miller Ave., Meadville, died Tuesday, May 8, 2001, at Meadville Medical Center. He was born in Meadville April 16, 1934, a son of Wallace N. and norma M. Heyer Teasdale. A veteran of the U.S. Army he served in Guam during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Laborers Union 564 of New Castle. He was a member of Meadville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2006, an active member of Vernon Central Hose Co. and a social member of West Mead 2 Volunteer Fire Department. An avid fisherman and hunter, he enjoyed going to various fishing camps in Canada for more than 35 years. Survivors include his mother of Meadville; a brother, Park Teasdale and his wife, Donna, of Meadville; a niece, Holly McCaslin , and her husband, of Canal Fulton, Ohio; a nephew, Troy Teasdale, and his wife, of Miamisburg, Ohio; a great-niece and a great-nephew. Calling hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Byham-Miller- Mizner Funeral Home Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Walton of Lyona Bible Church officiating. Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery, West Mead Township. The family suggests memorials be made to American Cancer Society Crawford Unit, 464 Pine St., Meadville, Pa. 16335; or a charity of the donor's choice.
