  children of John R. Carothers decd of Dickinson Tp See page 105 item 33 Andrew 
  2d son must have d.y. Filed Sept 12, 1840 within are petitions of John N. 
  Carothers over 14 yrs asking for appt of James Dunlap as gdn filed Aug 15, 1836
  Also petition of Margaret Carothers, mother (filed same date) & next friend of 
  Andrew, James, George & William Carothers, the said four being minor children 
  of John R. Carothers late of Dickinson Tp & they are under 14 yrs of age &
