Docket No 4 page 249 is a petition of Isabella Noble one of the children of James Carothers late of West Pennsboro Tp decd died intestate seized of the following tracts of land in sd tp. Tract 1 The mansion house & dwelling plantation ctg 260 A adjg John Davidson, Andrew Hickes & others. Tract 2 Adjg the heirs & devisees of William Carothers decd ctg 160 A being that part of the lands of the late Wm Carothers decd to which the aforesaid James was entitled under the will of the aforesaid William. Tract 3 containing 320 A adjg lands of Jeremiah McKibben & others called the "Locust Thicket tract" leaving a widow Elisabeth & issue six children to wit: James Carothers, Isabella Noble, the petitioner, Margery, intermarried with Samuel Workman, Rebeckah Carothers, Elizabeth Carothers & Mary intermarried with James Grayson Esq. She desires that the interests of each should be ascertained & severally enjoyed by them.
