  Orphans Court Docket Book 7, 
  
  10th August A.D. 1824, Came into Court Ann Mitchel widow and relict of the
  late General Andrew Mitchel,  and preferred a petition to the Court therein
  stating, That your petitioners first Husband Howard Moore  died intestate
  leaving your petitioner a widow and one child named Elizabeth, which said
  Elizabeth hath  John Boden appointed as her Guardian, the said John Boden
  hath removed to Perry County, your petitioner  therefore prays this honorable
  Court to appoint some suitable person as Guardian over the person &  Estate of
  the said Elizabeth Moore in the room of John Boden. Whereupon William Ramsey
  Esq. being  nominated is approved of and appointed Guardian over the person
  and Estate of the said Elizabeth Moore  during her minority or until another
  Guardian is appointed in his room.
