  10th August A.D. 1824, Came into Court John Wormley Esq. and preferred a
  petition to the Court therein  stating, That your petitioner hath been
  appointed Guardian over the persons & Estates of Howard Moore,  Elizabeth
  Moore, and Mariah Moore, minor orphan children of William W. Moore late of
  Eastpennsborough  Township Dec'd, your petitioner never acted as guardian of
  said children, nor hath he ever got into his  hands any of the Estate of said
  minors. He therefore prays the Court to accept of his resignation as  Guardian
  over the persons & Estates of the said minors, Whereupon the Court accept of
  his resignation.
