Bill of Sale Samuel Hoy to Urick [Willerick] Steelly [Steele] March 1785

Know all Men by these Presents that I Samuel Hoy of Armagh Township Cumberland
County and State of Pennsylvania for and in Consideration of the sum of a Hundred
and Twenty pounds Lawful Money of the State aforesaid to me in hand well and truly
paid by Willerich Steely of Derry Township County and State aforesaid the receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledge and myself therewith being fully and entirely
satisfied . Have granted bargained sold Transfered and made over and by these
presents Do grant Bargain Sell Transfer and make over unto the said Willerich Steely
his Heirs Executors Administrators and assigns a Certain Tract of Land Situate in
Kishacoquillas Valley Armagh Township County and State aforesaid adjoining Land of
Robert McNitt, Catharine McNitt, Thomas Brown, John Alexander and James Alexander
being the Same Tract of Land which was Surveyed to Issac Beirs by order of Survey
bearing date at Philadelphia the Second Day of July 1768 and numbered 5093 and
Conveyed by said Issacher Beirs
 to Robert McNeal the Second Day of August 1771 as Reference thereto being had will
more fully appeared by him the said Robert McNeal being conveyed to Samuel Hoy the
twenty first Day of November 1771 as Reference thereto being had will more fully
appear 

To have and to hold the above Described tract of Land and bargained premises unto
the Willink Heirs Executors Administrators and assigns to the only proper use
Benefit of him the said Willerick Steely his Heirs Executors Administrators and
assigns for Ever and I said Samuel Hocy for myself my Heirs Executors and
administrators the above Described Tract of Land and Bargained premises unto the
said Willack Steely his Heirs Executors administrators and assigns against all and
all manner of Persons laying any just claim to any part or parcel thereof ( the
aforesaid State only Excepted for their dues ) shall and will Warrant and forever
defend by these presents

Samuel moved his family to Westmoreland Co, PA at this time.  We believe other
neighbors moved as well.
