  The Beard, BLackstock and Irwin family lived in Cumberland and Lancaster Co., PA.
  
  William Irwin came to PA from Ulster, North Ireland.  He died in Pennsboro 
  Township, Lancaster Co. in 1748.  He was marreid to Eleanor (last name believed 
  to be Franklin, and possible daughter of Benjamin Franklin).  Thirteen known 
  children of this couple:
