  Deed from Alice Carothers of Beaver Co, Pa dated Jany 28, 1837 to Daniel Dietz 
  of York Co, Pa is signed by her alone.  Witnessed by James Glendening [sic] & 
  John Ewing & ackd the day of its date before the latter a J.P. Beaver Co, Pa & 
  recorded Apr 3, 1837 in Deed Book RR Vol 1 pages 29, 30 & 31 by Thos Craighead 
  Jr Recorder. It recites the patent, above noted to Wm Caruthers dated May 25, 
  1762 & by his will dated Nov 16, 1762, he gives same to his son John (see item 
  18 page 82 book 17). He, John, by his will dated Jany 10, 1783  has issue 3 
  sons & 3 daughters being William, James, & John & Mary, Alice & Jean 
  Carothers.  William & John, by the death of their brother James & by divers 
  other assurances at Law became owners as tenants in common.
  By an action in Partition proceeding which see at No 107 Nov term 1825 the 
  whole of said tract on Apr 17, 1827 became vested in William Carothers & being 
  so seized on Mch 26, 1829 died intestate, leaving a widow Mary Carothers & a 
  son John Carothers which said widow Mary on Mch 6, 1835 died & her son John 
  being then so seized of said land on May 25, 1835, died intestate, without 
  issue leaving neither father, mother, sister or brother, but leaving an Aunt, 
  by the father's side the said Alice Carothers, the present grantor & several 
  cousins, the children of deceased Uncles & Aunts by the fathers side.  To 
  which land the said Alice Carothers as next of kin & heir at law became 
  possessed. By actual measurement the tract was found to contain 201 A 88 P & 
  situate on the Conedoquinnet Creek & she for $8062 conveys same to Daniel,
