        In deed of Wm Carothers & Jean, his wife, Isabel Woodward & Absalom her 
  husband to Samuel Strohn dated Mch 1, 1790 recorded Apr 9, 1799 vol 1 book N. 
  Page 152 Cumb Co, Pa for land in East Pennsborough Tp it appears that Samuel 
  Strohn had married Margaret Carothers, third of the 11 children 8 boys & 3 
  girls of John & Sarah Carothers.
  This deed is witnessed by Robert Bell & Thomas Carothers.  John poisoned in 
  1798 son of Robert 1690 1771 had a son Thomas
