Watts, Jacob Harman, William Lim, Robert Irvine, Peter Snyder & William Martin containing one hundred and sixty three acres and 115 perches besides the usual allowance of six per cent for roads etc and Whereas the said James Matthews did by an Indenture bearing date the second day February 1798 convey a moiety off the west end of said tract agreeable to a consentable line between said parties cornered in the division on two chesnut oaks on each side of the plantation containing fifty acres more or less Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said Martin Motzer for and in the consideration of the sum of one hundred & forty six dollars & 67 cents lawfull money of the United States to him in hand paid by the said Henry Snyder the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold released and confirmed by these presents doth grant bargain sell release and confirm unto the said Henry Snyder his heirs & assigns a part of the aforesaid moiety off the west end thereof by a consentable line between said parties cornered in the division on a Spaish oak on the hill side and a hickory on the lower side said Hickory is a corner of George Painters land containing thirty acres more or less Together with all and singular the ways woods under woods waters and water courses rights Liberties privileges heriditements and appartenances whatsoever thereon and therein to belonging or in any wise appertaining the reversions and remainders rents issues and profits thereof & all the estate right title interest use property possession claim and demand whatsoever of him the said Martin Motzer of in and to the hereby granted or mentioned to be granted premises To have and to hold the aforesaid tract of land and premises to the said Henry Snyder his heirs or assigns to the only proper ___ & behoof of him the said Henry Snyder his heirs and assigns forever Subject nevertheless to the Residue of the purchase money and Interest thereon now due or to be ___ due if any such there be and the said Martin Motzer the aforesaid tract of land and premises to the said Henry Snyder his heirs or assigns and against him the said Martin Motzer his heirs executors and administrators and all manner of persons lawfully claiming or to claim the same shall & will warrant and forever Defend by these present In witness whereof the said Martin Motzer have hereunto set his hand and seal this day and year first above written Signed Sealed & delivered in the presents of Martin Motzer seal Matthew (his NI mark) Shanks Daniel Bloom Rec'd March 30th 1812 of Henry Snyder the sum of one hundred & forty six dollars and sixty seven cents in full the consideration money within mentioned Rec'd by me.
