A certain vagrant fellow, who called himself John DAVIS, but whose real name as we afterwards understood, was John O'FARREN, told this malicious story, but Thomas Dickson having him apprehended, he denied the whole, and went on his bare knees and begged said Dickson's pardon in the most submissive manner.
