"Bris" "Whitey" Ahlberg Ragnar W. "Bris" "Whitey" Ahlberg, 80, of Lower Allen Twp., Mechanicsburg, died Wednesday, December 7, 2005, at home. He was a retired customer engineer for Control Data Corp., Harrisburg; a member of VFW Post 7415, New Cumberland and the American Legion Post 0109, Mechanicsburg; a volunteer and member of Lisburn Community Fire Company. He also repaired books for the Red Land Community Library. Mr. Ahlberg was born June 16, 1925, in Brooklyn, NY, and was the son of Claes F. and Ellen M. (Nysten) Ahlberg. He was preceded in death by a brother, Arne F. Ahlberg, a sister, Doris M. Ahlberg, and a great grandson, William Robert. Surviving are his wife, Mary Jane Winiski Ahlberg; three sons, William F., Warrenton, VA, Raymond B., Laytonsville, MD, and Richard W., Audubon, PA; two daughters, Kathleen M. Bourquin, Ooltewah, TN, Cynthia E. McNaughton, Dover, PA; a brother, Roy A. Ahlberg, Murphys, CA; a sister, Inez Michel Burdick, Sun City Center, FL; eleven grandchildren, Kristen, Eric, Steven, Victoria, Thomas, Matthew, Michelle, Ronald, Jr., James, Nicholas, Amanda. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewisberry. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Hilltop Cemetery, Fairview Twp. Viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 863 Lewisberry Road, Lewisberry, PA 17339 or to Hospice of Central PA, P.O. Box 266, Enola, PA 17025.
